Originally founded in 1887 as Steele Street Methodist Church, we moved in 1974 to our present location and were renamed St. Luke United Methodist Church. We offer three distinct worship experiences each Sunday and we invite you to join us each week. We are a church that is active in mission and service and we welcome you to come and serve with us as we share Christ’s love in the world!

SUNDAY WORSHIP
8:30 AM - Traditional Service in Casey Chapel
Our Casey Chapel service provides a more intimate setting for worship including the traditional elements of hymns,
congregational prayers, and traditional creeds of the church.
9:00 AM - Contemporary Service in the
Davenport Christian Life Center
Our contemporary worship experience involves all of our senses
in praise and adoration of God. Led by our clergy and worship
music leaders, we are refreshed and strengthened for our
journeys of faith and life in Jesus Christ.
9:45 & 10:00 AM - Sunday School for All Ages
We believe that Christian education is so important, so we
offer Sunday School classes for all age groups. Learn more

11:00 AM - Traditional Service in the Sanctuary
This traditional worship service includes singing of hymns led
by the Chancel Choir and use of congregational prayers
and traditional creeds of the church.
OTHER GATHERINGS
Sundays, 4:00 - 4:45 PM - Cherub Choir
Our youngest music makers, ages 2 through preschool, meet to make a joyful noise each week. They also perform several times a year at worship services and special events.

Sundays, 4:00 - 5:30 PM - J.A.M.
Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Children participate in fun games and activities that further explore what was learned in our Sunday
morning programs. Refreshments are served at 5:00 p.m. followed by our program. Meetings begin in Room #116/118.
Sundays, 5:00 - 6:30 PM - Youth Fellowship (UMYF)
Youth in Grades 6 – 12 enjoy dinner, worship, small groups, big group discussions, games, service projects, and much more. Meetings are held in the Davenport Christian Life Center.
Wednesday Night Live (September through April)
Our Fellowship Dinner, prepared and served by our Hostess Committee, begins at 5:45 PM in the Davenport Christian Life Center. Cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children 11 and younger ($25 family maximum). Call 919-776-2012 for reservations.
Bible Studies begin at 6:30 pm.
A variety of classes are offered each term.
