R. Carl Frazier, Jr.
- Senior Pastor
Carl comes to us after six years at Hay Street UMC
in Fayetteville and eight years at St. Francis UMC in Cary. His wife Mary
is a teacher at Deep River Elementary School. Daughter Elizabeth graduated
from Wofford College in SC and is attending Duke Divinity School in Durham.
Daughter Ellen is attending Meredith College in Raleigh.
Suzanne Cobb - Associate Pastor
Suzanne comes to us from serving as pastor to both Leahs Chapel UMC and Shiloh
UMC in the Raleigh District. She has a husband Jim and three sons - James,
Joseph and Jacob. We welcome her to her new family in Christ at St. Luke
Church.
Jay Locklear -
Director
of Youth and Young Adult Ministries
Jay comes to us from Centenary UMC in
Smithfield where he was Ministry Assistant for Youth and Contemporary
Worship. Jay will be familiar to many of our youth as he has been a music
resource person for conference events including ACS (the UMC annual conference
for youth), Breakaway and Kaleidoscope. Joining Jay are his wife Heather
(who happens to be the daughter of a United Methodist minister) and their sons
Joshua and Anthony.
Amy Staley -
Director of Children and Family Ministries
Amy's
duties include programming for children, families, adults, and the educational
programs for Sunday School and small group ministries. She came to St.
Luke in 1999 with an Accounting degree from UNC-Greensboro and a Master's Degree
in Education from Duke University. Her husband Steve has
leaning for another college in Greenville, NC (ECU). Their daughter
is Larkin Grace.

A
nationally recognized composer and arranger, Jimmie consistently provides St.
Luke with the very best organ and piano music available anywhere.

Holder
of an Associate Degree in Business Administration, Lisa is responsible for
church operations. She and husband Neil have two daughters, Lauren and
Hannah. Her office hours are
