Locally, under the supervision of the
committee on United Social Concerns, the following agencies are assisted:
- The Coalition to Improve the Quality of Life in Lee County
- The Bread Basket
- The Helping Hands Clinic
- H.A.V.E.N.
- Highway to Healing, Inc.
- The T.L.C. Home
- Emergency Food & Crisis Support
- Hospice of Lee County
Beyond Lee County, under the supervision
of the Work Committee on Missions, the following organizations receive help:
- Missionary/Teacher in Japan - Rev. Robert Terhune
- Missionaries/ Doctors in Africa - Sharon & Lynn Fogleman
- The Sanford District Board of Missions
- The Habitat for Humanity
- Hispanic Ministries
Saint Luke also contributes to World Service and Conference
Benevolence.
